This clip presents a picture of how public school education could be, if it was unconstrained by neo-liberal reform The school is a public school in Boston called Mission Hill. What is most important, one teacher tells us, is for teachers to have  'real freedom and autonomy to work in our classroom with groups of children and individual children.' The principal says that whay they do is not rare - but that the environment supports what they do - that is what is rare. The school is a million miles away from the kind of top-down test and data driven model which is stifling public education not only in the US but in most parts of the world.
