The newest addition to the Research Archives is a special issue of Postcolonial Directions in Education, (Volume 7 Issue 2, 2018). The issue is entitled “Education resistance: Activist media in struggles for public education,” and the guest editor is Nisha Thapliyal.
Articles of special interest to teacher union scholars and activists include an examination of documentary films from the US and India about school privatization; discussion of  the campaign against standardized testing in in Chile; and an “activist report” from the New South Wales Teachers Federation about the union’s use of digital media in campaigns to educate the public.
