sozblog2.jpg Staff Wearing purple in Support of Campaign at Clovelly Park Primary School, SA Teachers and support workers in South Australia are continuing with a lively and creative campaign against proposed budget cuts The cuts by the Rann government will see support workers in schools being hit particularly hard, their hours cut and their numbers diminished. As well as lobbying the state parliament support staff worked to rule and in many schools all the staff wore purple to show their support for the action and on the day of the lobby they all wore red. For more details of the actions taking place please go to the Australian Educators' Union wewbsite at  http://www.2008eba.org/ On Friday the union is planning a one day strike which the state government is attempting to use anti-union laws to prevent.
