Teachers' leaders are demanding salaries in excess of $600 a month which is the poverty datum line. Up till now they have only been getting $150 a month. An official from the Teachers Union of Zimbabwe said they had been patient for a long time. "Not reporting for duty on Tuesday will be the last resort if Government fails to give us what we want," said the official.
